Dr Kavinga Gunawardane (MBBS, FRCP, FACE, FSLCE, FRACP)

Dr Kavinga Gunawardane graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka with MBBS (Hon) in 2005. Subsequently, she commenced her post-graduate training in medicine and endocrinology in Sri Lanka and United Kingdom. She successfully completed her training as an Endocrinologist at the Churchill and John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, UK in 2014.

During her time in Oxford, she obtained her specialist membership and fellowship in Diabetes and Endocrinology from the Royal College of Physicians, (FRCP)UK. In addition, she has attained fellowships from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (FACE), College of Endocrinologists Sri Lanka (FSLCE) and Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

She offers 10 years’ experience as a consultant endocrinologist and is currently an Endocrinologist at Alice Springs Hospital.
