Kate Gallasch (APD, BHlthSc (Hon), BNutDiet)
Kate is an Accredited Practicing Dietitian who graduated from Adelaide University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours in 1999 and went on to complete her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Finders University in 2001.
From 2002 until 2005 Kate has enjoyed working at large public hospitals gaining extensive experience in a variety of clinical areas working as a Clinical Dietitian. This has included The Lyell McEwin Health Service, The Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Alfred hospital in Melbourne. Running Dietetic clinics within the Diabetes Out Patient Services at the Lyell McEwin Health Service and Royal Adelaide Hospital extended Kate’s knowledge and skills in empowering people in Diabetes self-management.
In 2005 Kate joined ACHA Health (Ashford, The Memorial and Flinders Private Hospital network) and has worked as a Senior Clinical Dietitian caring for people with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including clients who have diabetes.
With a passion for helping people improve their health through individualised nutrition advice, Kate firmly believes in educating and empowering her clients with the skills and knowledge to manage their own health, which leads to better long term health outcomes.
